1/4 Water Line Kit with Feed Water Adapter for Refrigerator Ice Maker RO Filter

I’ve had a bad experience with push in 1/4” fittings before so I was hesitant to try this kit, but was impressed with the quality of the connectors and the items that were included such as a very cool little tubing cutter also extra Farrells and fittings that made my ice maker hook up a breeze I wish they had a kit with the filter for the refrigerator included although I used another manufacturer’s filter with 1/4” tubing inlet’s that worked fine 25’ of tubing gave me enough to leave a 6’ self coiling loop behind the refrigerator coupled with one of the tubing 90 degree brackets supplied allows for the ability to slide your fridge in and out without worries if the water line being kinked or going underneath it just follows out the appliance and coils automatically to the back wall when you push the appliance back in. To me the most important thing is on the five connections made none leaked and will work for any refrigerator that will accept a screw on ferrel fitting, and that’s all of them.

Very easy to setup. It took me around 15 minutes to install. Work as expected.

I bought two kits recently. One from Home Depot and one from this vendor (model YUHX). There is nothing wrong with the one from Home Depot, but YUHX truly stands out. YUHX is not just cheaper but also so much better in terms of workmanship, packaging, and what is included in the kit. It came with two valves, one tee splitter, two elbow guards, cutter, teflon, 25' hose, and instruction. All of the parts are of superior quality. The kit has everything I need and more. The vendor has given much thought to a non-professional like me who has not installed ice maker kit before. The parts are easy to use. One trial and there is no leak whatsoever.

This worked well and came with all the parts necessary to hook up water to my fridge. Revised 3/6/23: I had to remove this water line/system to remove my garage refrigerator so I disconnected the white filler line from the top of the little ball valve by removing the chrome nut which holds the line onto the little valve. Days later my wife went out to get some drinks from the new fridge which has no water/ice capability. She told me there was water everywhere. Upon inspection I saw a strong stream of water coming from the tiny ball valve squirting all over the wall! I shut the main water off and thought it was that tiny valve that controls the water into the fridge. Turns out the valve seems okay, but when you remove the tiny chrome fitting that holds the water line and presses on top of that gasket on top of the ball valve, you remove the against the ball valve...thus that little valve will never seal completely and you get water all over your garage floor. Fortunately, we discovered the leak quickly and it was in the garage and not in our kitchen or the results would have been worse. So if you do use this valve, make sure you keep all those fittings tight and in place otherwise you're in for a baptism of moisture. Don't rely on just that valve to shut off the supply by itself without the top fitting/hose in place.

Every once in a while you purchase items at Amazon and they are perfect for your needs. This item is one of them you get all the parts to satisfy your need. Enough length. A cutting tool to ensure the tube is not crushed when cut. I could not ask for a better product to add filtered water to my fridge ice maker. Worth the money and anyone can install this product

Worked great easy to assemble

If you've worked with any kind of plumbing you'll know that the simplest looking things can be a pain but this kit installed very easily. The set consists of good quality parts and extras to account for different installation details. There's even a nice cutting tool to ensure that you have nice clean ends on the main water line. You should note that the installation instructions come on one very small piece of paper and they are very brief. That said, the text is in good English (not always the case) and if you're using this kind of kit you already should have a decent idea of what you're doing so I stuck with 5 stars.

Installation was very easy with the quick connector. No leaks and the 25 ft was the right length so I could route the pipes from my sink to the fridge at the opposite side passing through the cabinets.

The kit has all the basics plus several additional parts just in case. I liked the addition of the corner pieces, which came in handy for routing through cabinet corners on the way to the fridge from the sink. Does what it claims, and I was able to easily hook up the fridge water/ice maker like I wanted.

It’s important to read all the instructions to install this to make sure none of the fittings leak. I followed in instructions. It was easy to install and work great with no leaks.

The fridge I purchased (an LG) came without the tubing and attachments to connect it to the water supply. Furthermore, the instructions didn't make any sense. I had been looking at videos on YouTube for help and was inspired to try Amazon as a source. The instructions for this kit were clear and easy to follow. There's much more in this kit than I need for this job, but the other pieces will not be wasted. I can use them for other applications down the road. I'm happy to recommend this product, for taking a step beyond just the product and adding extra valuer for my customer experience.

The parts were there for any configuration. Push the hose into the adaptors or even on the back of my new fridge. No leaking. Just make sure, because once two join the hose with the adaptor, it is not coming apart.
