I’ve been using these drying pads for years. They’re handy for the kitchen and also bathroom counters when doing hand washable laundry. It’s also easy to keep one in the car for damp bleachers or seats made uncomfortable by the sun. Easy to fold and store.

I saw this in an advertisement and decided to try a couple out, as we just redid our kitchen and I was looking for something to replace our old dish drying rack. Within a day of using the first two, I bought three more, so I always have at least two clean. These things are awesome! They are lightweight, dry fast, easy to clean, look great (or as great as something like this can) on a kitchen counter - especially the black ones on a dark countertop - and I can fit whatever sized items I need on them -tons of little things, or a humongous item, and anything in between (just add a second or third one if the item is large or odd-sized enough). Cannot recommend these highly enough!

The one that convinced me to buy it was written by Aceto on January 10, 2013; however, many others reported that this product needs to be prewashed with liquid detergent and tumble dried on a low setting before first use to prevent it from bleeding through on the countertop.We wash most of our products in the dishwasher; however, we have some crystal vases, glasses and delicate pieces that we hand wash, as well as pots and pans and extras that will not fit into the dishwasher. We have been using dish towels up to now, but this product is so much better.This durable mat combines two super absorbent microfiber layers sandwiching a thin but absorbent layer of foam and holds 4 times its weight in water. It dries quickly, folds and stores with ease, is attractive and the perfect size, at 16 by 18 inches, to fit on my counter top.Although this item looks like it could have many uses, the directions specifically say that it is not to be used as a pot holder, oven mitt, or hot pad, but works perfectly as countertop protection from scratches and scuffs from mixers, blenders, etc.I like the fact that it is the correct thickness of a sturdy surface to safely dry delicate glassware without the need of hand drying them.To top it off, this product has a free of charge replacement guarantee for the material and workmanship.While the mat has a piece of material on one corner of the backside to fit on a hook for drying, mine dries quickly on the counter.This product fits my needs, looks good, is priced right and just the right size and color for my kitchen.If you follow the directions and use it properly, I think you will like it too.Enjoy!

This is a great place for clean dishes. There is no smells or mold. Be sure you see the size. Works great for me.

No more gross hard-water stains and no more water underneath. Even when it gets so damp that it's wet, there's no pool of water underneath it. Very impressed with that. And there's no odor when it gets saturated! I actually hesitated on ordering this because I was sure it'd stink up the kitchen. Machine washable - haven't put in the dryer, I just line or flat dry. Ordered two more so that I always have a clean one ready to go.

I purchased this black mat a few years ago. I can be confident that my next purchase of this mat will work as well as the one I have used for years. One great thing is that there is a hook on the back. I let any excess drip off the mat and into the sink; then I hang it on my refrigerator from its hook to let it dry.
