Absolutely fabulous sandals !
I just got this delivered yesterday and after trying this out for a day, I have to say these are great sandals.Having bought the Tanza sandals a couple of months ago, I've been wanting one more Teva and was looking at the Toachi 2 and the price has been fluctuating back and forth and I waited for one of the 3 colors to drop below $50 before I pulled the trigger and lo and behold, the Turkish Coffee one did first and I finally bought it.On to the Toachi 2.... simple and yet very good construction. Great arch support and you can feel the cushioning effect below the heels. Just like the Tanza, it has 3 sets of straps to adjust the fit on each sandal. It felt more comfortable and snug than Tanza to me.Materials and craftsmanship are very good on the Toachi 2 and it is a perfect outdoor sandal. I have other Teva, Ecco, Keen and Chaco sport sandals and the Toachi was an addition to them. The arch support and heel cushioning on the Toachi 2 is as good as the Eccos ( Yucatan and Offroad Lite) which are my favorite sandals and Toachi 2 is as good as the Eccos.A great sandal well worth the money and if you are looking for a sport sandal at a good price, look no further than Toachi 2.

Comfortable and convenient but not the most durable
After two years of wearing these Toachi 2's, they were just about dead and so I bought another pair. The very fact that I bought a 2nd pair says a lot about how much I like them.Pro's:—The snap-in buckle is awesome.—As the back isn't fixed, I often leave it undone (velcroed together, but not put through the loop), which makes the sandal slip-on/slip-off, so I don't have to bend over all the time. If I want to go for a bigger walk, I can just put it through the back again.—Comfortable. They feel good on my feet. Prior to these, I only wore cheap sandals, and wow, the difference in how my feet feel after a day of walking is worlds better.Con's—The durability isn't too great. They did last me two years, but I learned early on that they are not prepared for trails or rougher terrain. If you are looking for hiking sandals, these are not the best sandals. In any case, even with only using them on paved or flat surfaces, they still started to come undone after not that much usage. Yes, they lasted me two years, but I probably used shoe-glue a half dozen times.—They don't do well in water. The sole seems fine, but the strap gets completely soaked and takes a long time to dry off.The verdict—Comfortable and very convenient. Durability isn't the best, but know what you're getting and use them accordingly. I bought my second pair and even if they don't last super long, I'll still be happy with the purchase as I've found no better sandals for everyday-use purposes.

Outstanding Adventure Sandals
I've had my Teva's for over 5 years (usually just worn on weekends and summer vacations). I initially got them to shower with while deployed, but have also taken them to several beaches (exposed to salt water) and on multi-day canoeing trips. They have held up well and are still usable today. The absolute best feature, for me, is the quick-release clip on the outside of the sandal. This allows you to fit the sandal perfectly with the Velcro straps, and never have to adjust them again; you just open/close the clip and slip them on and off. Very comfortable, even after all these years. And like most Tevas, they dry quickly. If I had to list a shortcoming, it would be that they don't come in wide sizes. So I'm not sure if they run narrow (I usually wear wides) or if my foot is just that much bigger. I highly recommend these great sandals.

Best Sports Sandals, Period.
I don't often write reviews, but the quality, comfort and durability of these sandals compelled me to do so. I ordered my first pair of these about two years ago. Since then, I have worn them hiking, walking, swimming, fishing, boating, etc., as well as for something comfortable to wear at home after work. I wear them at some point nearly every day, and I've done that since I got them. The sizing was perfect and they felt great right out of the box. They wear very well, and even after nearly two years, my original pair is still going strong. They are extremely comfortable and really support your feet. Whether swimming or fishing, I've used them a lot in and around the water. The traction is very good, even in wet environments, and they dry quickly after getting out of the water. Unlike many sports sandals I have owned previously, these do not break down or start to smell after being exposed to a lot of water. For my money, these are the best sports sandals out there, and I just ordered a second pair.
