Everything I needed
I learned that my old power supply was notoriously bad, so I figured to go with the Cooler Master. So far, it's been perfect. There's never been any problems like with my old one. The quality seems to be great and if you're able to read a bunch of guides online, it's somewhat straight forward to install. Just make sure to label all of the cords that you're dealing with. It's more than enough for all of the games I've been playing so I'd definitely recommend this.

My first PSU with more than 1 PCIe power line
My need for this card came about because I finally bought a current GPU that was near the top tier. Previously I had only bought current mid-tier GPUs (3060ti, RX6800) or top tier cards that were 4-years old. All my previous power supplies only had a single PCIe power line that had 2 daisy chains off of it. This worked great - even if I had multiple GPUs. Upon upgrading to a top tier GPU, the computer would hard crash during GPU intensive tasks - meaning it would be unresponsive to power or reset and could only be restarted by cutting off the power at the wall, then turning it back on. It did sound like a PS issue. At first, I went through my current power supplies - going from 500W to 750W to 1200W. But all the same thing. Then I read on the internet that this is common with top tier current gen GPUs (RX7900, RTX4080 or better) when the GPU is being fed off of a single PCIe daisy chained line. All my PSU, including the 1200W only had a single PCIe line daisy chained into 2. I looked for a name brand PS and found this one. I ordered it the thursday before Easter and it arrived in 2-days as promised. Since it's a modular PS, it takes slightly more finesse than just a wired PSU. The connections need to be run to the mobo and devices first, then dangled where the PS will be mounted. Then after putting the PS into position (before screwing it in), the cables needed to be hooked to the PSU, then the PSU screwed in. So far so good. No crashes yet. It's also quieter than all the ones it replaced and they were all known name brands - albeit all at least 2-years old. If it doesn't solve my problem, you can bet I'll be back with an update. Fingers crossed.

Rock-Solid, Whisper-Quiet Power That Just Works
Rock-Solid, Whisper-Quiet Power That Just Works The Cooler Master MWE Gold 850 V2 impressed me from the start with its sturdy build and thoughtful design. I used it for a mid-to-high-end gaming and productivity build—Ryzen 9 5900X paired with an RTX 4080—and it has handled everything I’ve thrown at it without a hiccup. Startup is instant, voltage rails stay steady even under heavy GPU load, and fan noise is practically nonexistent unless you’re pushing sustained wattage. Installation was straightforward thanks to the fully modular setup. The flat black cables are flexible and easy to route cleanly, especially in a tight mid-tower case. It comes with two EPS connectors, which is helpful for modern motherboards, and the included power cord and screws mean you can get up and running without hunting for extra parts. Thermals have been excellent; it stays cool to the touch even after hours of gaming. Efficiency is solid—Gold-rated performance with minimal waste heat. It’s a definite upgrade over the older Bronze or semi-modular units I’ve used before. If I had to nitpick, the included cables aren’t sleeved or braided, so they don’t have that premium look some enthusiasts want—but for reliability, silence, and clean power delivery, this PSU hits the sweet spot. Bottom line: A dependable, quiet, and efficient 850-watt modular PSU that’s perfect for modern GPUs and future upgrades—excellent value and performance from Cooler Master.

La peor compra que hice. 😭

Great value for money!
I got this when it was on sale 850 V2 for $70. It was a very good deal. I really appreciate this seller! I use this with a power hungry 7900X. The PSU itself is not super quiet. It's ok. My last PSU was able to completely turn off fan, this one is always running at like 500-700rpm or something. But at this price, and 850W (849 of which are available on the 12V rail!). Also, it has only 2 EPS connectors, but you can always buy your own later. At my purchase price, it is great value for money. Product came sealed, but in its brand packaging (no outer Amazon box, which is good for the environment, I guess) Update: 1 month later, I still have no problems. I notice the fan is kind of strange. It's not a smooth sound, it's kind of an warbling, like the blade or bearings are unbalanced. It was like this from the start, and has not changed. Also, the fan is supposed to be sucking from the top and blowing out the rear of the case, but if you put your hand over it you can feel it blowing out the top. Very peculiar. It's like the fan "sucks" literally/figuratively. Still, this was an amazing deal, if this lasts 5 years, it gets ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ from me.

Reliable & Efficient PSU — Great for Mid-High-End Builds
I recently installed the Cooler Master MWE Gold 850 V2 in my desktop build, and overall it’s been a really solid power supply for the price. It hits a sweet spot between performance and efficiency without costing as much as enthusiast-grade models. ⚡ Power & Efficiency This PSU delivers a steady 850 W of clean power — enough to support high-end CPUs and GPUs — and it’s 80 PLUS Gold certified, meaning it operates with very good energy efficiency (around 90 %) especially under typical loads. That helps keep my electricity usage down and reduces heat inside the case. 🔌 Modular Cabling The fully modular design is a big plus — you only connect the cables you need, which makes cable management easier and improves airflow, resulting in a much cleaner build. 🌀 Cooling & Noise It comes with a 120 mm HDB cooling fan that stays relatively quiet during everyday use and even under load. You do notice some noise under really heavy stress, but nothing distracting. 🔒 Built-In Protections This PSU includes protections like over-voltage, over-current, short circuit and over-temperature shutdowns to help protect your components. ⚠️ Things to Consider Some users note that the included PCIe cables can be limited — if you’re planning on powering a high-end GPU that needs multiple PCIe power plugs, you might have to source extra cables. A few builders find the flat modular cables a little stiff to route in tight cases. 💡 Bottom Line: This Cooler Master unit gives you excellent value for an 850 W Gold PSU — efficient, modular, and quiet enough for most gaming and content creation PCs. It’s a reliable choice if you’re building a powerful system without spending top-tier PSU prices.

No resistance here
I haven't double checked all its stats or anything but it's working great in the PC I built.
