Ford Friction Modifier Additive, Clutch Type Limited Slip Differential, 3.80 oz Bottle, Each

Fantastic item. Works as it should. Stinky. Beware when working outdoors near wasps nests. They will attack. lol

The product has a really obnoxious odor, however it really works! The gear oil I used had friction modifier in it but didn't correct the grabbing/ locking in the limited slip differential. One 4oz. bottle of the Ford friction modifier fixed 90 percent of the issues inside of 10 miles! After doing some figure 8s in a parking lot I suspect all grabbing will be gone.

Works great. I just put it inside the Valvoline bag as it was halfway full and poured it all in. Its a green color additive. Seems to work as intended.

Did the job

Great additive for older vehicles with sketchy, noisy differentials. There are other uses reported by various commenters - read what they have to say. Even though packaged in a secure container, the smell seeps out of the bottle, and you and your family will know it quickly, if you bring it into your house. Store it in a garage or outbuilding to avoid the smell. (The strong smell means it will work very well.)

put this along with lucas gear lube in a 2013 f-150 rear end that prior to this service sounded for all the world like it was going to explode at any time. Other lube changes with other products made no difference, but this combination solved the issue completely.

No more Ford power steering whine. No more shutter on a Hyundai transmission. I've purchased this product a few times. Use the while bottle for trans or diffs, everywhere else you can use sparingly. Highly reccomend... its magic in a bottle. Just DON'T smell it... worst smell ever that lingers

I tried so many,but non of any didn't work as good as this one . My LSD diff locks so well and quickly ,I never saw something as effective as this one

I'm not much for "additive" stories. But I 1st used this on an old, chattering positraction (trans-axle). Problem solved. Since then I've used it on Jeep transaxles w/ the same success. It can't repair worn parts or reset alignments or tolerances, but there's something intelligent living in this fluid that finds the problematic areas and compels them to play ball *The modifier-from-hell* (you'll understand when even your dog avoids you for a week). I've used this product & "Ford CM19546A1 Friction Modifier" interchangeably after doing a bit of research a while back.)

We had some slippage in our TC for a 2015 Porsche Cayenne, changed TC fluid and added this. There has been a no signs of slippage after the change and addition. Will continue to monitor.
