Is this as good as Fant Gulas?

I have used this product for years, but you need to use good sirloin meat cut up into small squares and browned slowly for a long time to get really good meaty flavor. I add a very large sliced onion and red pepper before the browning is done and than add the Knorr mix. Turn down the heat to low, cover the pan and cook till meat is done. Just before serving I add one package of Knorr brown gravy dissolved in a little bit of water or red wine, bring it back to a boil for a few minutes before serving the Gulash over boiled whit potatoes. It is my families favorite meal. Remember to add onion, red pepper and thikening the sauce with Knorr brown gravy, do NOT add salt. Sometimes I add a little creme, bon appetit

What are ingredients/spices included in packet?

Wheat flour, corn starch, beef fat, onion powder,tomato powder sugar, celery flakes milk,carrots yeast, garlic powder and so many other things that I can't even pronounce them. I have had no problem with this product and continue to use it. From the package the previous answer I can't see any ginger or cinnamon. I wonder if you can go on the Knorr site and see the ingredients. The ones that I have order lately have been sent from Germany but prior I have some from Canada. This package I kept says Unilever Englewood Cliffs, NJ 07632 USA I hope that this help you.

What is the difference between the original knorr sauerbraten mix and the new fix.? has original been discontinued?

They are all original the only differences is the package design changes times to time for marketing purposes

So glad I tried this seasoning from Germany!!!!!!!

I am very happy with my purchase. Very easy to use. I mixed as per directions with hamburger meat and formed into patties and fried them. Very, very delicious. I have three more envelopes and am planning to try making meatballs next time I use this. The difference between a plain hamburger patty and one made with the mix is fantastic, not dry as regular hamburger on its own. Highly recommended.

I like this. I will use once in a while.

Tastes good in Meatloaf. I used two envelopes in 2 pound of meat and followed regular meatloaf directions. Directions on pkg. are in German so I just made with my own recipe.

GREAT SEASONING FOR MEATLOAF

Glad to find these packs for meatloaf!! I used a previous brand which comes from Germany and are too expensive now. Knorr came to the rescue!! This seasoning gives meatloaf a wonderful oniony flavor!! Instructions are in German, so I saved my old packages which were in English.
