I’ve been using the Dmyond Metal Detector Pinpointer for a little while now, and I’m really impressed with how well it works. It’s accurate, easy to use, and makes finding targets so much faster. The sensitivity is strong, and the alerts are clear so you don’t waste time digging in the wrong spot. The build quality feels solid, and the waterproof tip is a huge bonus for checking muddy or wet areas. I also love that the battery life lasts longer than I expected — I’ve gone on several hunts without needing to replace it. The metal detector arrived very quickly. However, the metal detector I received was non-functional. The light would blink three times when I held the power button down then turn off when I released the button. This is the first time I have ever had to return a product from Amazon. The return and replacement process was quick and easy. The replacement metal detector arrived as quickly as the original and works perfectly. It worked well to find something valuable that I had lost.

Works great other than depth perception is not real deep. Lightweight, easy to carry on metal detector. Easy to assemble, just add batteries.

For a cheap pinpointer this thing works pretty good. It’s not very deep seeking but that’s not a bad thing in my opinion, it only sounds when you get really close to the target which really is what you need for pinpointing.

While it does work fine for jewelry, tested it with a ring similar to the one lost, you pretty much have to be within half an inch of the lost item to get a reading. We believe ring was lost in the grass, so we had to go inch by inch, literally! Did not find it, the yard is rather large! Perhaps a high frequency larger circumference reader would work.

6k ok, it's finding all things, gold finding sence is low but ok

Over the years I've purchased numerous stud finders, and none of them worked on plaster and lath walls, I guess because the plaster/lath is too thick. This unit detects the nails that fasten the lath to the stud, and it works PERFECTLY! This unit costs way less than many stid finders and works way way better. All you guys out there doing renos on old houses, get one of these.

Ok, But malfunctions sometimes

Seems to work well. I haven't actually used it on the thing I bought it for and I intend to use it on, which is pallets basically and making sure there's no metal in them before I put them through my planer, but I have ran it over various things in my shed and it did exactly what it said it would!
