I made homemade candles and these were perfect addition since the wood wick gives it a more luxurious feeling. It burns kind of iffy where sometimes you need to relight it

I bought these to rewick my cotton wick candles, and they make candles burn much more evenly. They can be a little hard to get started since it's hard to trim down the wood wick if you don't have a trimmer, so if your wicks are a little longer, you'll need to light it and keep an eye on it. It might go out the first time and need to be relit, but I didn't have any trouble keeping them lit after the original light.

So, I have mixed feelings about these wicks, I'm not sure if it's something that I am personally doing wrong or if it's the batch of wicks I got but they struggle to light and stay lit. I like the crackling sound, it's rather soothing but it gets frustrating when I have to constantly relight it. I do like the thickness of them, and they were easy to trim to size, I'm not sure if I'll be getting these again but if someone is able to tell me if it was something I did or if it was the wick themselves, I'd be appreciative.

If I could give it ZERO stars, I would. I tried about ten sticks and not a single one would stay lit for more than two seconds. It was like burning incense, except it stinks terribly. A complete waste of money.

These candle wicks are excellent! I love the wooden wicks because they burn slower, which makes my candles last much longer. They’re the perfect thickness, and I love the crackling sound they make as they burn. They’re don’t give off any bad scent, and the included stickers are perfect for keeping the wick in place while I pour the wax. Their quality is great, and they’re very easy to use. I just wanted to start making candles, and these are perfect to begin with.

Looking possibly into other options, these have the tiniest flame so customers are missing out on the crackling experience. Was hoping I wouldn’t have to double up because of the thickness of them but good possibility I’ll need to.
