Am always cold in my workplace lace and wanted a light shawl. I love that the buttons on this is not ornamental and I can wear it in many ways. It’s very effective in keeping me warm and is a great piece to travel with as well. I like the red color I chose too.

This shawl/poncho is very nice. It's not heavy, so don't anticipate that it will keep you warm outside in the winter cold. If you live in a climate that is warm year round it would prob be suitable for outdoor use without an additional coat. The material is smooth, slightly silky, but definitely not "clingy"! I'm a plus size and I do not like clingy fabrics that cling to my body & show unsightly bulges, so this shawl was perfect; it hung nicely and hid my excess weight exactly as I'd hoped! I'd highly recommend this item! In fact, I like it so much that I'm going to order a couple more in different colors! And I LOVE the buttons down one side, it adds an extra bit of class & style, plus the buttons can be unbuttoned so it can be worn more like a jacket if desired.

I rate this poncho 4 stars instead of 5 because I wish the shoulder was sewn closed. There is no reason for an opening with real button holes. I will end up sewing that closed. I don’t like how it opens at the shoulder. Other than that I love the way the buttons look. The poncho itself is a nice fabric and drapes well. It is the perfect weight so that you can wear it inside without dying of heat. I received many compliments. The color red is a true red, which is great! I would purchase more in other colors if there were some.

Lovely, lightweight and brilliant red color for the holiday season and into spring. Valentine’s Day, anyone?. Well worth the investment.

Looks ok. The buttons are cheap thin junk that will have to be replaced.

Lightweight, classy look.

I ordered this in red, and at first thought there were no buttonholes as other reviewers had stated. They were well hidden on a seam, so camouflaged. Once I buttoned it up and put it on, I was very happy with the versatility by being able to position the buttons on the side, back or front. This will be great for our European travels next month as it will fit nicely into my backpack.
