I got the chocolate Animal Whey Isolate Protein Powder. I really like it. It mixes easily in water with just a spoon. It's not gritty. It's tastes really good. I only mix it in about 2 oz ice cold water for the more chocolate flavor. I appreciate the added nutrients except for the sucralose. TIP: Scoop is inaccurate. More than 1 serving. Weigh it.

Works great, mixes well and good taste. I could barely taste the “medicine/chem” taste that many protein products have. I mix one scoop with 2 cup soy milk. After I finished the container, I thought I’d try another brand (Gorilla Mode Cookies and Cream) but it was a disappointment, it was clumpy and taste wasn’t good. I would go back to Animal and try different flavors.

I chose this one due to the high isolate content, good macro profile, and positive flavor reviews. The price also initially seemed attractive, but I later learned it was only a 4lb tub, and it includes a massive scoop to get the full protein advertised. The size of that scoop along with poor mixing in lukewarm water is probably why I won’t buy it again. The flavor is fine, but I drink these in a few quick gulps, so I’m not too hung up on that aspect. Overall I’m reasonably satisfied, but again, I might go in a different direction for my next tub.
