This works really well getting stuff out from behind your washer and dryer. I had to purchase one just to get my stuff back. It works really well. The grip is awesome. It’s really nice. It wasn’t super expensive which I thought was nice. Sturdiness is really good and in fact, it picked up some heavy stuff and some very tiny things.

It also works well with larger items and the gripper holds on tight making it much more easy to move things around. I have severe back problems and can't bend to pick up anything that falls on the floor, but with this item I have found a solution that makes my life easier, Don't waist your money on any other grabber as I have used many brands and they have not come close to the quality and usefulness of this item This item is very light and easy to use plus it folds up to store. I have used other RMS products and have never been disappointed. I would highly recommend this product.

This is a lightweight pole that I got today. It easily picked up papers and a package of index cards in a sack that had fallen behind my desk. I have hand arthritis so really appreciated that squeezing the handle to close the 'pinchers' and retrieve objects was doable without much increased pain or difficulty. The materials used in production are obviously made cheaply. While this item is great for light duty use it's construction does not appear sturdy or built for longevity. The price reflects this. This item does work well to grab and get small and lighter weight items such as keys, and other small items of a pond or two that get behind or under places that are hard to access. For these purposes this product is excellent. I don't expect that it will last for more than a year or two though unless I am really careful with it given the construction. Still, it is affordable, functional, and very effective in picking up relatively lightweight items up to a pound or two that otherwise require bending, twisting and contorting to try and retrieve things that fall in difficult to get to places. This is helpful also for those of us with chronic pain in our lumbar area where bending is painful. This tool comes in real handy. I plan to use it a lot to get stuff that falls from my hands, table, behind my desk, or under my couch...as long as items aren't too heavy. I really like the fold down feature. With a push of a button in the middle of the shaft you can fold it down easily to use for travel or to put away in a small space. My last gripper broke because it didn't have the ability to fold down into a small space and caught against a cart. This one also had rotating pinchers option which is an excellent design addition for tucking the gripper away into small spaces without getting caught on other things. Also, by extending the base of the claws and rotating this this makes it even more compact and less likely to snag on other items and break when getting it out. I tested the stability of the rod right where it folds while it is extended and it is weak there rather than stable.. It moves back and forth like a hypermobile joint rather than a stable joint. That is why I suggest you not try to grab anything too heavy and watch for buckling in the mid section of the pole as you grab items more that a pound in weight. (Manufacturer, I'd suggest reengineering this item to better stabilize the pole better in the area where it folds for more stability when extended Overall, for the price I am very satisfied with this purchase. If it were available on Amazon I would definitely choose a higher quality construction pole able to safely lift heavier items that would have a lifetime warranty or heck even a 5 year warranty!

Due to an accident I have been bed ridden for 2 months can only use one arm for now.. and this has been a life saver to me. I have learned to do tremendous amount of things it is, sturdy and can pick up a can of diet coke, glass water bottle, clothes, and even the smallest items from the floor its amazing. Very sturdy it has picked up glass bottles of water, cans of diet coke, clothes, towels, packages from Amazon this has been a miracle device for me..this is a honest review. I was skeptical buying this item but so glad I did it definitely is a big 5☆ purchase I definitely recommend fantastic quality for a low price.

This works great for removing the fall leaves from around the base or stuck in the branches of my rose bushes! I can stand and pluck the leaves out without getting stabbed by the rose branch needles.

Every household needs several of these "grabbers". I have one for each area/room of the house. They are not only to assist elderly family members but serve as a convenience and also for safety and health reasons for all family members. We use them all over the house to get light weight items off shelves versus having to get on a step stool or ladder; easier to pick up items off the floor if you have a back, hip or knee problem that is painful and don't want to bend or shouldn't bend like after surgery. Also use for yard clean up, sticks and debris and the shop/garage area. Its good to test picking up different items of weight from floor and shelf height just to determine what you can handle depending on your strength, the product strength, the position of the item needed so you can get a feel of what the grabber and you can handle. Easy to use and yes have picked up a dime - takes a little practice - but these are handy and a must have for me. I prefer the construction of this item with finger like grips (can pick up from side or directly straight up and down) and when locked in place, it feels sturdy and solid to use. The gripper part can be rotated depending on position of item being grabbed. I've had the aluminum frame grabber with the suction cup grippers and find - for me - they don't feel as sturdy or solid and not as easy to use because of the position the suction grips are in. I don't want to be without this product! You will be surprised what a help this product can be on a daily basis. Hope you find this helpful.
