Q: is this only for the roots? or long hair as well?

I have shoulder length hair and use this all over. I put it on and then wait a couple of minutes to blow dry.

Total Results High Amplify Foam Volumizer does not provide heat protection. For heat protection you may want to try Style Link Heat Buffer Thermal Spray. This lightweight Spray protects up to 450F/232C.
