Solid microphone holder
Wrought iron microphone holder for your office desk or table. Especially useful for Vlogging, audio work and live stream purposes. Feels robust, is a little bit shorter than expected but it's not a deal breaker. Alternative uses might be a toilet roll holder if you place it on the cistern, so even if you decide to give up on the internet, it can retire to the bathroom, the weight of it and the rubber base will keep it stable, into old age.Looking back on this purchase, i'd rather get a microphone stand but I don't like returning things, i feel like an inconvenience to the company, it does the job so it will do, I like it.Holstering the mic to keep your hands free is it's useful feature fulfilled. Good buy.

A Simple Solution
When the current Covid problem started our family kept in touch using Zoom, as my computing equipment was not really up to the audio side of things I had to use any studio equipment available at the time, the most relevant being a 6 ft counterbalanced boom microphone stand to suspend a stereo microphone array just out of range of the camera. The desktop microphone stand now means I can simply sit at my desk with a microphone clipped in front of me. Far less hassle. It seems to handle everything I have hung on it with no problems. Not sure yet what to do with it in the future as it looks strong enough to last forever, but I'm sure I will think of something!

Solid. Worth the money.
Well made. Heavy cast metal base with a nice rubber foot. Post screws in - this is my only slight gripe as there isn’t really a way of locking it solid but in use this hasn’t been an issue because once you set the height that’s it. I could always use some thread lock if it became an issue. The height adjustment is via twisting what feels like a cheap plastic wheelbarrow grip but is actually decently sturdy. I use it with my Rode NT-1A with cradle and pop shield and it’s perfect. Highly recommended if you want to get away from the annoying springy microphone arms.

Useful weight
Nice heavy base giving great stability even with heavy mics like the SM7b. It is heavy and solid enough to feel safe using it as a desk stand for an expensive SLR camera.Good range of height adjustment when used as a desk stand, also has good isolation from desk vibrations.Well constructed and priced. My only criticism is the absence of a locking nut for the pole which can lead to partially unscrewing the pole when locking and unlocking the height adjustment. Making sure the pole is well screwed in helps, but I am thinking about buying a locking nut.

Ultra stable
Works perfectly as a base not just for microphones but also for desktop lights. Combined with a magic arm to connect and orient the light, the base remains very stable and doesn't risk tipping. The padded bottom makes sure there won't be any scratches on your desk.

Better than the product description
Note this review covers the "347 mm" version of the product .Only just received the product, but I am really impressed by the robustness of this microphone stand. The base is HUGE, a good 17.5 cm in diameter. The base is quite heavy and has a really nice grip due to a rubber ring that encircles it around the bottom. I have not explored adjusting the height of the extendable pole because, at its lowest position, my microphone (Samson C03U in a Samson shock mount), mounted horizontally, sits at around 28 cm above my desk--likely exactly where I want it (any upward adjustment will be minor and easily accommodated).

Excellent table top microphone stand
The stand has a very heavy cast iron base which makes it very stable and gives a low centre of gravity. With my mic attached there is no chance of it toppling. It has a thick rubber foot which prevents slip, stops the stand scratching your table, and gives some vibration filtering.I'm very pleased.

Great little stand
Just taken delivery of this and am very pleased. Firstly because I got it for a couple of quid off in Amazon's Warehouse where the description said it had some cosmetic blemishes, but apart from a tatty box it's totally unmarked! Secondly, because as little plastic stands go it's really good quality. Made, to my surprise, in Germany, the legs have smooth but stiff movement, so you can use it at various heights, while the plastic is of that durable nature that you don't fear could snap any minute. All round all good.
