I had two problem lamps, and these worked great on both. I have a table lamp and the harp was wobbly, making the shade crooked. I replaced the harp with one of these - no more crooked shade. The lamp shade sits at the same height with the clip-on fixture as it did with the harp. My other problem was a cheap looking floor lamp that had a plastic bowl shade, no harp. I found a nice silk shade at the thrift store and was easily able to attach it with this. Works great, saved me time, money, and hassle.

A friend gave me a floor lamp with a sconce top but I wanted to put a shade on it instead - the shape of the recessed area where the sconce had been did not allow for a harp/finial for a spider shade. A halo shade didn't work either due to the same issue. The shades I found in stores with a clip for the bulb were mini-shades. Then I came across this and it is PERFECT! I used the clip on the bulb and put a full size shade on the finial and now my lamp looks exactly how I wanted it. I don't often rave about products but this really is clever and worked perfectly for my needs.

I found two lamps w/ lampshades at Hobby Lobby on clearance for a great price. They were just missing the piece that connects the shade to the lamp. These adapters slide right over the lightbulb, so you have to be careful not to touch it once it's in place or the shade will tilt easily. I have a toddler so the shade gets knocked around a lot but I'm the one who put the lamp there lol. Highly recommend as a solution!

Perfect! I had lamps with tall shades that went on before the bulb and then the bulb held the ashes in place. They were never very sturdy because they were really too heavy. There was no place to add a harp and could never find replacement shades that were made the same way. I somehow came across here on Amazon, and with free ship/free returns and a $10 price point I figured what the heck, I’ll give them a try. So glad I did. Literally takes seconds to install…it takes longer to screw in the lightbulb than it does to add this 🤭. I will say though that they won’t work well on smaller bulbs…but will work for an average and larger ones. I needed to add shades to a pair of small 12 inch lamps that we got at a yard sale. A $1 for both lamps. Somebody had crushed closed the original metal slots that the regular lamp shade brackets fit into. With these clips I was able to easily add the plain paper shades that we decorated for the patio to the lamp fixtures. Will work with any lamp shade that has the small ( around 3/8" ) mounting ring. These were perfect for our project and a great price!

These adapters saved the day. I couldn't find any clip on lampshades that would look right on my small lamps. I thought I would give these a try and get a set of finial style shades. I thought that these adapters would be big and clunky looking and I would have to return them. Boy was I surprised. They worked better than expected and look great on the lamps.

I recently purchased an older home and wanted to create light fixtures over two bare bulbs without diving into 1940s electrical. I purchased these and hung a simple shade and they look amazing. They take two seconds to install and worked perfectly over my LED bulbs.

Average product,however, I find it hard to find locally. Will hold lightweight shades but does not support medium weight shades . I think the price is somewhat overpriced.

I love this item so easy to use and gives me options for different shades thanks so much, I would say this is a great item to order!

This resolved the issue I had with my lampshades not sitting low enough. What a difference. No more light shining in our eyes

Sturdy and effective in changing my shade options - would recommend and purchase again.
