Very helpful
This book is filled with very helpful summaries and detailed literary analysis that are very valuable in writing IGCSE exam answers. It also contains interesting animations and the information is well presented visually for students. I very strongly recommend it.

This CGP textbook is much like any other. It includes basic analysis of different acts, characters, context and themes and the writer’s techniques. I enjoy the simplicity of the book and it’s great for getting started with the play but I wouldn’t necessarily use it halfway into the GCSE course because it’s so simplistic. One feature I like a lot about the guide is its different practice questions and QR code quizzes which are useful throughout the entire course. Another feature I enjoy would be the fact that it lines up with the CGP An Inspector Calls workbook. It would be nicer if this text guide and the workbook were merged into one larger text guide. Overall, I would recommend this text guide only for the start of your GCSE course and I wouldn’t heavily rely on this resource later in the course but it’s certainly got all the key information that you would need to pass.
