Bought a 6-pack of the BR40 1400LM 2700K bulbs for our recessed living room fixtures in Nov, 2024. They are as bright as advertised, and the appropriate color range. Many times they're either dimmer or a colder color than stated. Not these. Just what we were looking for. After running them 12-14 hours/day for a little over a year (the wife likes lots of light), one bulb went dim. Not flickering at all (they work great on our dimmer) - just VERY dim. Looking directly at the bulb you could barely tell it was lit. They advertised a 5-year warranty, so I sent the seller a message via Amazon on a Sunday afternoon. Within a couple hours (maybe less?) I had a response. They apologized for the failure and are sending me a free replacement, plus an extra bulb for the inconvenience. No hassles, no questions, did not even have to return to bad bulb. Top notch customer service!! They responded to every message I sent them within a couple hours or less. Can hardly ask for better! Will definitely buy from them again.

These bulbs are bright white and work well in my kitchen.

These 5K lumen bulbs are bright and very nice but bought the 6k as well and prefer the 6k because they are a brighter whiter light where the 5k has a warm yellowish tint to them almost like a 3k or 4k would have. Both are nice tho.

A great replacement for dimmer, yellower, bulbs! I hadn't realized that I'd been cooking in a cave until I got these, high lumen (bright) bulbs for my kitchen ceiling. I use a very sharp Japanese knife to cut up vegetables and the cool white color (4,000K) helps me see what I'm doing so I keep all my fingers. FYI, for best visibility, the light's color is just as important as how bright it is, something I hadn't known. They're not cheap, but the low wattage of the LEDs make these bulbs a money-saver in the long run.

Bought a whole bunch of these to replace the Philips LED bulbs I had previously installed. Of the 18 Philips bulbs I bought, more than half of them had simply failed entirely within 6 months to 1 year. They were also the wrong size for my fixtures. This didn't bother me, but I digress. In any case, I decided to replace the bulbs in all of my fixtures with these lights instead, as I no longer had an adequate number of Philips bulbs to put in all of them, and I wanted consistent lighting. And the correct size! They are also significantly brighter than the old bulbs I was using before. So far all of them have worked out of the box. If I encounter issues with them in the coming months, I will update this review. If there are issues, it very well could be the wiring of my fixtures. I have documented the failures in each fixture very carefully. If I get the same failures again, in approximately the same amount of time, in the same fixtures? Then I will not knock these lights whatsoever, that's most likely an issue with my wiring. As a closing note, I get the feeling many people (myself included) may be experiencing issues with "dimmable" LED bulbs because of our particular dim switches. Not all of them are created equal and there's a few different ways for dim switches to operate. LED bulbs require a specific kind of dim switch. I believe the ones for my particular fixtures are what LED bulbs need, but again, if I have issues with these bulbs as well, I will investigate the possibility of an incompatible dim mechanism. The Mothership has landed! We live out in the country and on a moonless night you can't see your hand in front of your face. We have motion lights set up on our outbuildings and house. We have rattlesnakes that come out at night in the summer and sleep right on our patio and animals to feed in the winter after dark. We also walk back and forth between our shops and other outbuildings and need the motion lights to be nice and bright so we don't trip on uneven ground, etc. So good, bright light is really important. For years we have constantly replaced the yellow, old style lights it seems like every other month in the winter. They work ok, but the light is weak and doesn't carry really far, and the bulbs burn out super fast, even though they automatically turn off after 5 minutes. These bulbs are incredible. At over 1400 lumens with the cool blue light, they are perfect for seeing longer distances and have a very wide range. So at two bulbs per fixture, it really does feel like the Mothership is shining down. My husband leaves for work at 4:30 am and he actually came back in that first morning, in shock, to comment on how incredibly bright they are. If you are looking for warm, ambient, soothing light, these bulbs are not it. If you want to light up the night, these are perfect.

Bulbs work well until they don't. Had several fail within warrantee time. Called and was told they would be replaced but never received the new ones.

I replaced 150w equivalent bulbs with these. These seem brighter, for my garage. Ideal for when I'm woodworking.

I needed a new bulb as one of four in our bathroom. The Sunco bulb was exactly as detailed in the specification and once installed and powered on is indistinguishable from the existing bulbs. Good work!

I don't normally write reviews, however I do for these lights. Using this in a carport. The extra length in the neck is perfect. Great light, bright white. I ordered more.

Order arrived on time, and all 18 bulbs worked when tested. These are the right size for 6" pots. Colour and brightness is as advertised. Hope they last. Perhaps I should have ordered less bright ones; more isn't always better. Update 2023-05-05: One of the 18 bulbs has failed in just under 3 years of occasional use. Much sooner than the 5 year warranty plus 2 years extended warranty. Sunco customer service responded to my phone call quickly and pleasantly. Unfortunately they will not ship replacements to Canada but will refund purchase price of the failed bulb. Dilemma: order another box from Sunco, or roll the dice with someone else???

Product arrived on time. The light bulb is of excellent quality. Installed in outside pot lights the bulbs are bright and cover a wide area. Highly Recommend.
