If you are looking for the best desktop mount for your Mic, mainly for Shrue SM7B, don't buy this one. Mounts are extremely important when it comes to a quality mic. They can also make it easier for you to fix problems that may not have been noticeable without the aid of a stand-mounted device. This item is not to buy at all.

I’ve been using the InnoGear Boom Arm Microphone Stand for a while now, and I have to say — I absolutely love this boom arm. It’s made from strong metal and holds my mic steady without any wobble or sagging. I’ve used it with heavier mics like the Blue Yeti. Currently using it with the HyperX QuadCast 2 S, and it handles them well once the tension is adjusted properly. The springs are tight and reliable, and it stays exactly where you position it — no drooping or drifting over time. It’s got a reassuring weight to it, not too heavy but definitely not flimsy. Really simple and straightforward mic stand. Clamp holds on to the table nice and tight, the arm holds my shock mount and shure mic steady, no adjustments needed. I don’t have a huge desk so the mic is positioned behind my left monitor and is compact enough when it’s folded up so that I don’t have to worry about any accidents. You can spend 60$ at Guitar Center for a name brand, or $20 for this and they both function the same.

I like this product simple and does what it says but it had a cracked down the dial that adjusts the clamp
