We really enjoy all the Bird & Squirrel series! My son doesn't like to read, but he regularly re-reads all 4 of this series and can't wait for the next one to come out. (I like reading it too :) :) We love that Bird & Squirrel are funny without being crude! Such a breath of fresh air. I teach second grade and my students love Bird and Squirrel books. The students begged to get this newest book and it is another winner from James Burks. I enjoyed the new characters and the chance to get to know the main character squirrel better by spending time with him at his house. Any book that the kids beg to read and want to reread is a winner in my room. Any age will enjoy this series, I find it best read by students who can read at a second grade level, level M or higher due to some bigger vocabulary that the charters use at times. Great series to get kids hooked on reading and enjoying graphic novels.
