NOW brand essential oils came highly recommended by my mother who is very knowledgeable in this area. I've been using this for a few days as part of my allergy relief formula (Lemon, lavender, peppermint) and have had excellent results!

I make my own cleaning solutions, and adding this peppermint oil makes my home smell amazing! I wish I had purchased this sooner. I bought it because I was fed up with the ants this summer, and I've heard that they're not big fans of peppermint. But forget the ants (they did leave FYI)... I'm getting this now on because I love it! I combine about 15 drops of it with a 2:1 ratio of water to rubbing alcohol and a small dribble of Dr. Bronners peppermint soap in a 16oz spray bottle. I use it to clean my kitchen, and it cuts the oil and grease on my stove really well - while also making everything smell fresh, crisp, and clean.

I use this to keeps squirrels out of my attic. I saturate cotton balls and scatter them all around the attic. I refresh them every month and it does the trick as critters don't like the smell of peppermint. Smells great too. You get a better deal with the 4oz version though.
