Lauri Tall-Stackers - Mighty Monkey Pegs & Pegboard Set

I initially saw these for the first time at an evaluation appt for my toddler. He was having some speech delays, and his pediatrician sent him for an evaluation. The therapist used these to perform a variety of activities to assess his abilities. He was so interested in them, their colors, the way they stacked, etc, that he didn't even resist the evaluation. She showed us a few different activities to do with him to work on his language skills that I immediately went home and searched for the monkeys. He loves the bright colors, stacking them, putting them away. I love that I can take them with us to restaurants and the like and there are enough for him to drop without losing the toy. They are also durable plastic and easy to clean. My son has improved his counting skills, colors, and his fine motor skills using these monkeys as manipulatives. My older son thinks they are fun too, and uses them almost as much as my toddler. I wish I found them sooner!

Our autistic daughter (4) has these in therapy and is always playing with them, so we decided to purchase they for her for Christmas. Her favorite things to do with them is stack them 10 high and we sign 10 little monkeys. These are great for coordination, and make her use both hands to push the monkeys together and take them apart. Great gift for any child and great for OT.

Very cute but difficult to get the monkeys together. My three year old granddaughter likes this but cannot do it without help. I have to use two hands to push them together. Fun toy but kind of frustrating for the toddler who wants to do everything herself

My 2 year old Autistic son loves everything about this toy. He plays with it all the time. The colors are vibrant and the pegs are easily inserted into the holes on the board. Stacking is a little tough for him though. It comes with activity ideas that work great for counting and learning colors. Very educational for the little minds and easily understood. Overall a great buy.

my 3yr old and 2yr old like the monkey stacker toy! Its a fun toy and very educational because you kids can stack or count and match the colors of the monkeys its a great thing for you to do with you kids! Its also good for fine motor skills too!

Nice and big for little hands. A bit tough for my 2.5 year old to snap together, but with help, he really enjoys them. Great for building, sorting, stacking and pretend play!

My 21 month old son has enjoyed playing with the Lauri pegs for several months, so I got this set for him to try as something a little different. He loves manipulating the two pegs on each monkey to build a stack taller than him - his very own monkey skyscraper! This is a good toy to keep by his table so he can sit and play (almost) quietly.

These are GREAT for toddlers. My son has fine motor issue and the pegs were too hard for him to do and caused him so much frustration that he didn't want to do it anymore. I found these and they are perfect! He looks forward to working with them.

Great Product

J’utilise ce jeu pour évaluer des enfants dans le cadre de mon travail. Capte bien leur attention et les gardent motivés. Également très simple à nettoyer. Le seul problème, les singes peuvent être difficiles à faire entrer dans les trous, les enfants de 2 ans n’ont généralement pas la force motrice pour le faire. Plus approprié vers 4 ans en raison de ce défaut.
