Very disappointed. While the product is well-constructed, the magnets are too weak, even with the additional magnets in the box. Aggravating this problem is that the large guard is hinged one piece (2 separate halves would have been better), making it heavy and clumsy. If the car door is not at, with curvy areas or high spots like factory moulding, the guard will not have enough magnetic contact with car. So, it will slide around and even fall off, AND scratch the paint. At very least, it should not scratch the paint under any circumstance. Being hinged and heavy, one half moving or falling drags the other half down. I returned it. While the product price was credited timely. I lost nearly $60 in shipping charges to and from Honolulu.

I park in a parking ramp everyday, and my previous vehicle got all dinged up. I got a new car, looked all over for something to stop the door dings. I thought this was a neat idea. Turns out, it works great. Very well made, easy to use, secure. Highly recommended. Bravo.

After posting an earlier review that was deleted or just, somehow, magically disappeared, I'll try again. The magnetic strips on this product start to deteriorate within a very, very short period of time; in our case, two to three months. Upon complaining to the seller, my earlier review is gone and seller states that these strips are not suited for heat or direct sunlight. I went back to the product description on Amazon and I have failed to see this caveat anywhere. It's only a supposition but it's my guess that they will also start to fall apart in the dark, in the winter. It is not a good product.

Really like this product and it does work as described. The portion of my car doors I needed to protect is, unfortunately, directly in line with my door handles so the mat does not lie completely flat. That being said, it still adheres well enough to work...it’s just an aesthetic thing for me.

Dent Goalie is just as I imagined it would work. great product!!! I have avoided already several dents in my wife's brand new SUV. a package unit would be nice though. :)

These work great for a while. After about 2 months exposure to hot summer weather, the adhesive and magnetic back begin to degrade. The magnetic back begins to disintegrate and adhere to your car. You have to rip it off and pick off the bits of magnet sticking to your car. --Edit:-- Gave up on using this a while ago, but came up with alternate solution for hot weather. It looks pretty dumb, but a pool noodle held on with two cat collars looped around the car door handles accomplishes pretty much the same thing for <$10.

These are really nice and perfectly made ... the issue is ... they are heavy and bulky ... and I have a black car and I am worried about getting scratches on the paint if I don’t wipe down the paint before putting them on ... ok ... so far I used them once ... they r just to big and bulky and it’s a job to put them on. If they were just a lot lighter and thinner.
