Though I had a Carrier unit before, and the filter was also listed as 4x20x20, it does not fit due to the height being different. I was aware from previous issues with filters to always check the "specifications" for the exact size of the filter to prevent having to return an item. For those who don't know, it is not a one size fits all, due to different specs fitting into that universal 4x20x20 size. This filter is 19.375x19.375x3.75, which is a half inch difference in height than the previous filter I have, but both are labeled 4 x 20 x 20. This filter arrived next day,well packaged and in a protective plastic sleeve. I have placed it on auto ship so I don't have to look it up, though my thermostat tells me when it is time to change the filter. Slid right into place with no problem, I do not anticipate any issues as this Top Tech filter is an OEM filter that was placed at time of install. Already assembled and ready to use. Wire mesh to hold the filter in shape. Review: Right fit

Easy to put in place. Cost is reasonable. Does a great job filtering the air inside the house.

This is the 4th one we have purchased, they last one year each. East to install. Definitely worth the money.
