WILEY About Face: The Essentials of Interaction Design

Great book, I bought this for my masters in Human-Centered Interactive Technologies and it was really useful for some of the modules i did. The book is great value for money and the illustrations are useful, especially for a visual learner.

Every developer should read "About Face: The Essentials of Interaction Design". It is a real eye opener, with some very clever things one can apply to UI design, and it also highlights the common mistakes made. This edition also includes mobile device interfaces and web design too - which the previous editions didn't have.

Very helpful book for any web developer/designers as it breaks down a lot of termnologies and good practice with clear detail on how to go aboyt achieving the perfect website. Not great for beginners as some of the areas feel slightly rushed and Google will be your best friend.

Bought this for my wife, first book came printed improperly, but the replacement I got is fine.It’s very modern and informative, covering a lot of things.

very detailed - but mostly stuff that is obvious or already known to most developers and designers. offers little in the way of principles, or useful information for someone actually building UIs. for something this thick, I was expecting to get a good deal of stuff out of it but I've honestly gotten more out of a couple of tweets.
