This is the 2nd time I’ve purchased these chalkboards. They’re great for teaching little ones how to write.

it seems to be a regular chalkboard that's small enough for kids to tote around with them. The wooden sides are smooth but sturdy, the board erases easily, and my daughter can draw then re-draw to her heart's content. the chalk she uses is the same stuff she uses on the driveway, if that makes a difference.

Who doesn't love a blackboard? These are fun for writing messages or using as part of gifts or crafts, and the price can't be beat.

I am using these for a pre-school class that uses the Handwriting Without Tears program. They are a LOT cheaper than the ones the mini chalkboards HWOT sells and are better made than a lot of the others. The frame is actually wooden and they erase properly. They are not the top of the line but work well for what I needed them for.

Works great for the classroom so far. I have only had these about a week but the students enjoyed using them. They work well with regular chalk and dry sponges for erasers.

Got these for a bride to be for bridesmaid pictures and we forgot to use them. They were a little smaller than I expected, the frame is pretty wide so that accounts for a lot of space in the dimensions listed. But they would have worked for our purposes. I stained them to match the look of the wedding and it turned out decent. You can see where glue leaked out of the corners a little so if you want a perfect frame these might not be for you. They aren’t real chalkboard it’s painted wood, double sided, and I didn’t get the chance to try them out.

These are a good size, similar to the HWT/LWT chalkboards used to help children learn to write letters. But the blackboard is shinier than traditional boards and the chalk seems to slide more than absorb onto it. (I guess that's what "synthetic chalkboard" means.) The feedback from the chalk is different--you have to press harder to get the desired effect.
