I’m amazed by the smoothness and the comfortable of the pen since I heard so much great things about it, the only downside is that the ink doesn’t seem/look full. But that’s alright.

I bought a 3pack black color pen set for Rs.300. This is a good quality pen. Writing is a little rough since it is fine point. And the pen writes thin. Because of these factors, you may need to put slightly more pressure than normal while writing if you want thick writing. However, the overall writing experience is excellent once you get used to it. Ink flow is very good, and the ink is fast dry, so no smudges whatsoever. The ink does show up on the back page (bleeding) though if you write on a page, so be careful if you want to write on both sides of a sheet. This would be particularly problematic on low GSM papers. However if you use >65 GSM paper you will be fine. One lower GSM paper, be content with writing on just one side of the page.

I am rather fussy about my writing; old school, very old. When I got these pens I noticed why they say the longest writing on the package, the refill is very generous and it make a rather thin and even a little scratchy line. To be sure I tried another 0.7 mm that I like very much and the width of the writing on the paper was quite different. These pens have a very small track when writing and therefore their claim to longest writing is probably true, but claiming 0.7 mm not so sure.

I am a masters student, consultant, business owner, and pen enthusiast. I have tried many pens over the years and this is by far the best for value and everyday use.This is the best pen for taking notes, signing documents and cheques, journaling, and more. It is hard to find a good gel pen that doesn't smear when I write, and this is by far the best I have found so far. The 7mm is the perfect size that isn't too fine or too thick.

Pilot G2 is insanely popular gel pen to the date. It is the elephant in the room of gel pens. If you believe their own packaging it is the #1 selling pen in America. I have used them for quite some time and all I can say is they are super-smooth and pleasure to write right out of the box. Only other gel pen I like besides Pilot G2 is Uni-ball Jetstream 0.7 which is quite good too. Finally it comes down to how it feels in your hand and how comfortable the grip is. I would recommend to try the both.Good thing is if you like G2 refill, there are several upscale option like Pilot G2 Pro, Pilot G2 Limited and Pilot Dr Grip Limited.

I really enjoy using a variety of pens at work. My co-workers joke that I should be a “professional pen tester”. I was excited to try them based on the reviews (yes, I look at reviews of pens.....). I was disappointed as I didn’t feel they lived up to all the very positive feedback I had read about them. I like smooth ink. These pens were smoother than some I’ve tried, but not as smooth as my two favourite currents (which cost less). If I had to rate them, I’d say 7/10.
