Yes, that would be a standard mount for a tripod or the like.

Will I be able to view wild life through porch screen?

I think you'll find a lot of reflection from the IR illumination. You'll likely have to press it against the screen to see anything.

Yes it does enhance stars. If you look at a dark part of the sky you will be amazed at how many stars are there that you can't see with your naked eye or a regular telescope.

In daytime mode is the viewfinder color or black and white? And does it take color photos and video in the day?

Yes to all your questions . The color is pretty amazing , ok it's not pretty but it's still amazing ! You don't take the lens cap off during the day , there's a tiny pinhole in the cover and through that it still gets clear color images , you can even stream real time video to someone elses phone .
