Little Tiger Poo in the Zoo: Great Mystery

Poo
After reading poo in the zoo I wondered where the story could go next. In the first instalment Bob had got life made with his robot popper scooper but comes a cropper in this tale. It is a great analogy for modern life when we rely on machines and when they go wrong all hell can break loose. It's well written in a good rhyming style which brings joy to the reader. Also it mentions poo a lot so my 5 year old laughs a lot. Cannot wait for instalment 3, if there is one, I expect it will conquer other aspects of modern life, or at least there will be more poo flinging escapades for my son to enjoy. Great book

Decent follow up book - four year old loves it!
If you’ve read the first book (im guessing you have if you’re looking at the second in the series), there’s obviously a theme to these books - A funny, silly storybook about poo….obviously our four year old boy absolutely loves this book! My wife (a biology teacher) loves it - myself - The same as the first one, I think it’s ok!!We bought this and the first in the series after our son started to talk about poo after coming home from nursery one day, it transpires they were reading the first book at nursery and all the kids loved it!I’m going to be honest and say we are a family of Julia Donaldson & Axel Scheffler lovers, so our bed time reading quality is quite high!Funny enough story, some new characters and a sobering look at the technological reliance that we have all come to find ourselves living in this day and age, obviously with a smattering of poo analogies! The rhyming patterns can be a bit odd here and there, it exactly having a smooth cadence as you would expect from other children books (Julia Donaldson has spoilt me!!), but obviously this is coming from an adults point of view.Asking my four year old to review this, he really enjoys this book, finds it hilarious (I mean what four year old kid doesn’t find poo funny!), likes that there’s a Robot pooper scooper, although he said it’s not as good as the first one, which I tend to agree with - although it is perfectly adequate, and makes good reading when paired with the first one too!He likes these books so much, this evening we had to read the first book twice and this one as well!Sorry to litter this review with the word Poo so many times, I don’t think I’ve ever written the word poo so many times in 5 minutes, although if you read the book - you’ll say it ALOT more than you’ve read here - I mean ALOT!!!! So much so, the word will have lost all meaning!!!Enjoyable fun silly book for a child’s bedtime!

Not as good as the 1st
Brought the first book and my children loved it so when we saw there was a follow up we of course Brought it.Still an enjoyable an amusing read with lots of rhyming through out.Personally I think the first is the better book but this is not an unworthy follow up an if you enjoyed the 1st then you'll enjoy this one.

Fun story, mystery and poo, sure to interest a few!
We loved the first book of this story and enjoyed learning all about the poos! Here in this book is the follow up with the little robot, a few interesting characters (one wearing tweed) and of course lots of poo.Fun story, good illustrations. Not as good as the first book but worth a read.
