We use to go through an iron a year. We have had one for 5 years and still working strong. Got another for daughter moving out. You do not need to fill ever 5 min. The only thing I wish it had would be auto off when you leave it plugged in

I've had this unit for a while now, very solid, professional unit. I'd highly recommend. Cable caddies are a little goofy. but nothing bad enough to knock a star off. could just use zip ties. 2 year update: iron stopped working, after inspection and moving some wires around it started working again. What I found inside is a very impressive and serviceable unit. Everything inside is meant to be replaced. This isn't your modern plastic throw away iron. Screws sink into metal not plastic parts so even a hard drop won't damage anything but your floor or foot. It weights 5lbs which is fantastic, it means you don't have to push hard to get a result. Just glide it around and let its own heft do the work. Brown rust water is a problem if you don't purge the line before you turn it off. But this is the last iron you will buy.

Love the dry steam. And while it gets super hot, it doesn't leave any shiny spots. Even on delicate and synthetic fabrics. The water lasts a long time. Its great not to have to keep refilling the water. I replaced my Rowenta pressure steam iron with this iron. It cost 1/2 the$$ and way out performs the Rowenta. The only negative I can possibly see is that this iron is heavy. I'm fine with it but some people may prefer something lighter.

the device has an electrical defect. When the steam button is pressed, it makes an electrical sound. We have three different ones at the Business that don’t make that noise. When we try to return the faulty device, the business makes us pay for the return, even though it’s defective. Amazon Prime customers don’t qualify for free returns with this product. I don’t recommend buying from this supplier to anyone. As a business, sending faulty equipment always gets a free return.
