I am drinking it for the health benefits. I think it tastes like Lipton tea, but dark and stronger. I like that it is organic. I can't really tell a difference in my energy levels. Maybe it takes a little bit.

Not quite as good as loose roasted, but throw in the convenience factor and these are great!

This mate is the best. Smoky subtle mocha taste. Nice colder weather drink with almond milk.

Great taste, weird smell at first. The product taste very, very good, and the yerba mate aspect is very fresh and green tasting and not smoked flavor at all. The "dark roast" aspect is amazing as they seem to have nailed a nice coffee-like taste and consistency to it. I take this with my favorite cream and it's just like a cup of joe. On the other hand, the product does have a slightly weird, fishy smell right when you first brew it. This goes away though after about a minute so it's not a big issue. But for instance at work, I brew this in the break room and then leave it there for like a minute and come back to get it after the smell has dissipated, because my desk is right next to a co-worker who is super cute and I feel self-conscious with the fishy smell. Lol. Other than that, great product.
