Works great!

Bought several types and this one is my favorite. Used for one summer so far, so short term review versus long term. Item is built sturdier than others. Others, black ones, that look like this and have no LED, which is probably unnecessary for the most part if you keep it on the charger, is just as good. Lithium battery is important. Used to kill mosquitoes, flies, wasps, fruit flies spiders, (all sorts of insects) so far and it does EXCELLENT. If have a lot of pests, buy a pair if available to get reduced price because you'll want that. Leaving on at night does not attract mosquitos but will attract "some" fruit flies, don't expect too much. It works really good in terms of voltage. Sometimes flies can take a hit and fly again, but only on occasion. Still, it is great and does as expected safely. No clean up of bug internals afterwards.

Works even better than I anticipated. I like how it's so slender and not ugly so I don't mind leaving on in my kitchen. Within 3 days all the mosquitoes were gone from inside!!! I like how you can leave it on as a standalone trap or use as an active weapon

The device works. I leave this on during the night to catch the flying miscreants who infiltrated the indoors. During the night it works as a standing zapper. During the days, it can be used hand held to capture the flying insects (though it is harder to catch flying insect than what I thought it would be). But, this is good enough for most application; however, on caveat with this device is that it's battery does nto last very long. It must be plugged in continously to be ready to use in moments notice. Other than battery life, it is a good tool.

This bug zapper is awesome. Started out in a Tennessee cabin killing off flies and now in Arizona zapping the stray midge fly.

I wish I could rate this lower… But I will give it credit for omitting a very pretty shade of purple light. When it works… First of all, the charger only works about 5% of the time. I can plug it in five different ways, I can hold it in at a different angles, I even try the old Nintendo trick (blowing in it), but it will only work when it feels like it. And then after it is “charged”? Maybe will work for an hour… hard maybe. Like that’s it. And then it goes back to the base, and possibly charges or doesn’t. It’s always a gamble. The other problem is that while it makes a ferociously loud zapping sound when something touches it, it barely even stings the flying insect. I can have one fly in my kitchen, hear it get zapped two or three times, and the fly is still lives to tell the tale. If anything, it makes the flies angrier. So this is really the opposite of a help. Don’t buy this product. It’s impossible to get refunded for it as well. Don’t. Buy. This. Product. Waste of time.

Absolutely love this product! It works even when you’re not physically holding it! Would definitely buy it again!
