A Must Have Referene Book l Damaged Shipment
This is an extremely valuable reference book for any serious traders, new or seasoned. The content of the book is exactly what I was looking for. I especially like the statistics on the performance & failure. The only thing I am very disappointed is the packaging for the shipment used. This is a NEW hardcover book with 999 pages therefore it is quite heavy. Packaging material used was a mere lightweight bubble Kraft envelope, therefore the book was delivered with damaged corners on the cover & half of the internal corner pages on one end.People who buy NEW printed books expect the book arrive in pristine condition. The packaging material used for shipping need to be in great care, like what Amazon used to do. Next order better come undamaged or I shall order from other online resources whenever I don't need to be concerned about the product referral fee gets to the author or product reviewer.

Ciò che non si trova sui libri di analisi tecnica
Bulkowski cala i pattern nella realtà, andando a guardare come realmente funzionano e evidenziando le eventuali differenze rispetto alla letteratura di riferimento. Ottimo libro e ottimo autore.

Probably one of the most indispensable books for securities
Though the book uses statistical information, there are various chart patterns which simply do not have the proper sample size to use the stats for calculation. However, there are MUCH fewer patterns without a proper statistical sample size than those with. I have not checked to see just yet if the author has used proper sample sizes in order to be confident in his findings. Being a math and finance major, I will eventually get to it and determine the validity of his findings, but for now, and for all intents and purposes, it provides a VERY detailed analysis coupled with vast experience from the academic mind of an engineer. Though I have not checked the validity just yet, either way, this book is a great leap forward into a proper quantitative basis in the securities markets.Just to go over the great and not so great things about this 'bible' that I keep beside me on my night-stand, the first thing that comes to mind after perusing the pages for hours and hours using it to relate to my current portfolio is that he gives a wonderful guide to understanding, recognizing, strategizing in bull and bear markets and their corresponding statistics. Even more interesting is the fact that he even includes Failures, busted patterns, and almost any variation of the pattern. Like I stated, this is a very well thought out and extremely detailed analysis. Hence my joke about it being the 'bible'. Bulkowski even starts the book off with useful novice and intermediate information and tips and tricks for all, like what chart horizon time frames can these patterns be used for. He even forewarns readers about the methods of his 'perfect' trades that are used in his analysis and that the real world is not perfect, even though there may be some who perform perfect, as defined by Bulkowski, trades.Really the only gripe that I could even potentially see is that it would be a lot nicer to have the pertinent Size Statistics information like the very important Average Formation Length stats directly out front on the first page with the title of each pattern. It would just be a bit nicer to have quick access to the most important information in validating the pattern like the average formation length, rather than rooting through 4 or 5 pages each time. It would have also been very useful to have patterns grouped according to their formation time periods where they could have added tabs, colours, finger indentations or the like to open the book without be required to look at the visual chart pattern index at the back of the book or the table of contents for page references. But these are very minor details.
