I love this mailbox. It's compact, sleek, and modern. We removed our chunky mailbox because Canada post installed a mailbox for the whole neighbourhood. We didn't think we needed it anymore. But every once in a while my neighbour would bring over a magazine or someone would drop off flyers and they started to put them into our door handle. We needed a new box and we didn't want to go back to something really large. This is a really nice compact mailbox. Pros: Installation was a breeze, thanks to the clear and straightforward instructions provided. The compact size of this vertical mailbox makes it an excellent choice for homes with limited wall space. The sleek black design adds a touch of modernity to my exterior, enhancing the overall curb appeal of my home. The construction of the mailbox is robust, providing durability against various weather conditions. The black finish not only looks elegant but also seems resistant to scratches and fading. What sets this mailbox apart is its vertical design, allowing for easy mail retrieval without the need for a large swinging door. The top-loading feature is convenient. The size is perfect for standard letters and small packages, making it an ideal solution for daily mail delivery. Cons: the Fleur-de-lis design on the front of the box is made from plastic instead of metal. It comes separate from the box. I had a hard time attaching the piece to the box. I was worried it would break.

This is a nice mailbox that is small and compact. I have a mail slot on my house for the incoming mail, but wanted a small box to be able to put outgoing mail in so I didn't have to find a drop-off mailer every time I mailed a card or bill. All the ones at the home dept stores were large and bulky, but this one serves for my purpose perfectly. Just a bit longer than a business envelope and wide enough for a card or folded magazine. It does not come with mounting screws so you will need three of those. Probably not ideal if you get large volumes of bulky mail or numerous magazines, but in my case it was exactly what I wanted and of expected quality. The plastic gold decorative symbol snaps in, so you can leave it off if you find it as tacky as I did and live with tiny small holes on the plain front.

This is great for a home that doesn't have much space where you may need to attach a mailbox to the house. its small but adequately fits large letters but manila like envelopes size items would need to be slightly folded if they can be. I could some small first class packages fitting in this just fine. I purchased this though not for our home but for my daughters pretend Paris cafe. I wanted one that was smallish but not kids size small and this was perfect. I thought it would be fun for her and her sister to pretend to deliver mail to each other. I spray painted it hot pink. I have seen my daughters put their fake food and stuff it fullwidth other toys and it has held up just fine to them and other children. Not sure if that helps for someone who is using it outside but it sure worked great for their playroom.
