Great for lighting stuff at parties and events!
Got them for our halloween party...for being so cheap they look great! The effect in the ice was cool. I had doubts about being waterproof, but they were fine. Also, we put one in clear glass our skull to give it some cool glowing effects. I have inserted a grid of that, a long with one of it's colors showing in their true look (tried to get it as accurate as possible. The only downside is the yellow LED looks a bit green, and pink & purple seem to not be what they should be, so I have labeled the innacurate colors to avoid confusion. But for the price, really great! They are quite large, so dont buy these if you are planning to use them for a vase or floral arrangements....get flora-lights for that, they are very bright and last forever! However, they are not strong enough to light up walls like up-lighting...I tried that too, and failed. They need 3 "AAA" batteries, and the remote also needs a battery...they are not included. However, the remote battery is a standard LR 2032, which if nothing else you can probably take out of one of your LED tea light candles. I got 2 for $1 at dollar tree (sunbeam brand), and they worked just fine in the remote.

Both stopped working within a day or two.
Both lights were great at first, I was even able to sync up the colors for two different levels of a fountain. However they stopped syncing within a few hours. I wasn’t too worried about that. I left them on overnight the first night and by the next morning one of the lights was just blinking red and I couldn’t turn it off. I took it out dried it off opened it up to see if water got inside and everything was perfectly dry. The only way to turn it off was to take the batteries out. But when you put them back in it’s still doesn’t work, it just blinks red. The second one did the same thing within two days . Again I checked it and it was bone dry inside. No water had leaked. The weather is good, it hasn’t been super cold, not below 60°. I was very disappointed because the lights really did look good at first. I would not buy these again, they were a waste of money .

Mediocre lights
Lights seem to work but water does get into them. Does not being anything to fasten them. The lights take AAA battery but the battery slots look larger like to fit AA batteries so the batteries seem to come loose and lights go off. They serve their purpose but are not the best product. I have used them in a hot tub twice to set ambiance and both times water has gotten in and when I put them away I have to drain them and dry them out so they don't corrode.Comes with two remotes but on one of the lights it doesn't work very well

Bright led submersible lights that come w a remote!
My family and I seasonally camp from May through to October. Last year driving around the campground I saw that some families had used a white 5 gallon bucket and put adhesive vinyl on the bucket and had cool lights inside. So when it gets dark the bucket glows and u can see what the vinyl says. It looked really cool and ofcourse I wanted one too. These lights are the exact thing I needed to make my bucket glow. I love that it comes with a remote control that way I can turn it off and on from anywhere on my site. Now I just need to decide on an image for me to cut the vinyl do I can finish my project. I have also seen people use the same bucket and load it with ice and put drinks in it. These lights would also work for that as well as they are able to be submerged in water. I have already had a couple of other camping families ask me about the buckets so I am sure once mine is finished I eill be making a few extras. I will be back to purchase more if its a hit! These are great quality and shine pretty bright!
