This is an excellent reference book. Most anxiety management books are about you recognising the root of what is causing you anxiety and trying to convince you that it's fine. That's ok for a while but it doesn't manage the fact that something else will no doubt pop up and cause you problems. This book is all about changing your relationship with worry. Really user friendly and an excellent resource for professionals and those experiencing anxiety

Highly recommended for those with chronic worry and those who help them.
I’ve read so many books relating to anxiety and worry, but this has been the most useful by such a long way. Despite having been to therapy for a couple of years whilst trying to just feel my feelings and not be afraid of them, this book has given me practical ways to do that with quick success and unexpected humour. My anxious thoughts have not gone, but I know how to react to them now so that the resulting anxious feelings just pass in a wave instead of crippling me. I found it so useful I then bought 3 copies for my friends.

Life changing
For me this just really speaks to my anxiety. I discovered Dave Carbonell online and he just made me understand everything about what was happening to me. I'd even sometimes listen to podcasts he's on while having a panic attack as he really grounds me. Maybe not for everyone but this book is so comforting for me - I only have to read a bit of it whenever I get anxious and I stop fighting it and feel so much better! After years of crippling anxiety - thank god for DC!! My hero!

What's the point of worrying!!!
It all makes perfect sense, this excellent book will let you see the futility of worrying, in fact just by reading it slowly as recommended by the Author, it will change your mindset.
