Great product; Doesn't quite work for me.
Overall, this is a great, sturdy product. Perfect for... something else. I needed an S-biner to fit AROUND a 3/4" pvc pipe; it does not open wide enough. Yes, the pipe might fit through the crooks of the biner, but I need the "mouth" to open wide enough to fit over the pipe. I needed a latch for the gate of a pvc/poultry netting chicken run, but this biner is too small for that. I will hang onto it, though, as it is sure to serve another useful purpose.

I use it to hold stuff on my backpack
My main use for the carabiner is to attach my kids small backpacks on to on mine, so my hands are kept free. It is also very useful for hanging my backpack on bus handles, so I don't have to hold my bag during the ride.Overall it very useful, and doesn't take much space or weight so I carry it with me at all times to use it whenever I need to.

Real nice to have
Nice big sized caribeener, strong gate springs, very lightweight and affordable - an evil camping necessity ... you can make do without it but boy are you always glad when you remember you have it

Outstanding Product
I actually purchased these for a tensile test. These carabiners exceeded expectations, with each carabiner bearing at least 2x the manufacturer weight rating prior to plastic deformation. Great product for a great price.

Nice but a bit small
I expected this to be the same size as the large ones I always buy locally. Granted it is much heavier duty, but it won't fit the things I hang on the ones from the local big box store. 5 stars for quality, less for description.

Big improvement in design!
Got this about a month ago because my old clip wasn't holding my keys correctly. Since the switch I havent had to worry about losing my keys!
