Instant Pot Electric Pressure Cooker Accessory Official Steamer Insert Set, Includes Long Handled Trivet, Steamer Basket, Broiler Pan to fit all 8qt and 6qt models

I bought the Silicone Starter set which is currently listed as “12 ounces” on the Amazon listing. Included is a lid, resting pad, and silicone “finger-gloves”. THE LID The lid fits both my 6qt and 8qt Instant Pot pots. When put on a hot pot, it clings to it and provides a pretty good seal. Attached are photos of the lid on my 6qt pot (the lid hangs way over the edge of the pot) and my 8qt pot (in that photo, I’m holding it back, revealing pulled chicken). The lid came crumpled up from packing, but it flattened out by the time I was ready to use it. The lid is labelled as BPA free, and has an allowed temperature range of -40°C to +240°C. THE RESTING PAD The resting pad can be set on a counter top so you can put the stainless steel pot on it without damaging the counter. It also reduces tendency to slide while serving. I always used to serve directly out of the instant pot, but do so less now, since there is always food falling into the gap between the pot and the base unit. The pad can also be used as a jar-opening assist, though a solid piece of rubber works better. SILICONE FINGER GLOVES This style of gloves are the easiest way to handle hot pots – much less messy that using cloth pads or gloves to remove the pot from the Instant Pot. OVERALL This is a great gift idea for Instant Pot lovers, especially at current pricing (hovering around $10). I bought it for myself since I was already looking to buy finger gloves and a lid for my Instant Pots.

This is such a handy little set, it should come with the instapot! I use parts of this set almost daily, if not a few times a week, it's indispensable! ▪I love the little dish, I make quiche in it all the time. My favorite thing is you don't have to add any extra grease, or crust. You just end up with this really beautifully textured light egg dish that's low in fat. ▪The steamer insert is really handy and easy to clean. Think you could stack the dish and the steamer together to do like a pot in pot but I haven't tried that yet. There's definitely room for all three inside the 6-quart pot. ▪The only thing I'm not 100% crazy about is the rack, the legs get a little Wiggly when it's hot and there's something heavy on top of it once it's out of the pot, there's no problem inside the pot with it being unstable. But I love it's extra long, so I'm 99.9% crazy about it, and that makes up for any issues with the wiggly legs. Just be careful if you have something heavy on top of it. I used this for a cheesecake and I don't think I could have got the cheesecake out in one piece without it. But just be careful when putting putting it on the counter because it might tip whatever you have on top of it. All in all a great purchase, and a no-brainer. It's brings so much more functionality to the instapot.

These are great. The gloves are perfectly sized to remove the inner pot after cooking without burning your hands or waiting for it to cool. They transfer no heat and are much better than the cloth oven mitts we are all used to using. The lid is perfect to throw on top of the pot if you want to store things like soup or chili in the fridge, it forms and airtight seal and saves you from wasting money on plastic wrap or tin foil, and is much more effective!! The mat is also great to take a hot pot and put it on your table or counter without having to worry about any heat damage. For the price these are must have accessories that will add utility and usefulness to the Instant Pot!

der Fingerschutz ist bei mir jeden Tag im Einsatz! vor allem Praktisch, wenn man mal in die Soße oder so reinfasst, kann man sie anschließend einfach mit in die Spülmaschine geben. Der Untersetzer wird nicht nur für den IP genutzt sondern steht bei mir momentan auch unter der Teekanne :) Der Deckel verschließt den Pot ganz gut, war bei mir bis her aber noch nicht so oft im Einsatz. Dennoch eine klare Kaufempfehlung.
