Is this product vegan?

The bottle states vegan. All I know for sure is that this is the only product that works for me. Stopped my arthritic pain in my back. No more sleepless nights and I am 84 years old.

Is the stearic acid from plant or animal source?

I no longer have the container from that product, which I did not buy again because the tablets are grossly oversized, about double of other bromelain supplements, and due to their rough texture, even harder to get down. If you want this product however, contacting Best Naturals will get you the answer you seek.

My son needs 6 per day. He said they're too big and dry to swallow without getting stuck and too nasty to chew. Anyone find a better way?

You can try crushing them and then add to juice or milk. However I would recommend that you contact the manufacturer to be sure there's no contraindication in taking the supplement in that manner.
