Can the pills be crushed to put in canned food? I have a nervous cat who is not easy to hold so I wouldn't be able to pill him directly.

The pills have a scent that animals seem to be attracted to and want to eat, like a treat. To answer your question directly, yes you can crumble the pill and put it in food. The label on the box specifically says you can do so.

What is the shelf life for this product?

The "expiration date" is stamped on the bottom... the last two containers I have are stamped 5/18 and 7/18

It appears the product is manufactured in more than one lab in the country that are FDA approved. The product was developed by a group of Vets and is the best I have found.
