I have used this a few times and it works well after the modification I made. I bolted it to a piece of plywood and clamped that to my workbench. Now it's solid and stable and shakes like a champ without vibrating my entire body while using it.

It works very well, so much so that I almost look forward to painting things now.

Overall a good sturdy design. Steal frame is strong, good quality bushing. Heavy duty enough for the job. Add a drop or two of oil to the bushings once in a while. I couldn't help myself and decided to improve it.

A little doubtful at first, but after using it -- love it. Did a paint job that involved 12 cans of spray paint. Mixed for 2 minutes each and had no clogs, sputters or issues with any of the cans. When hand holding the unit, tilt (hold in left hand with can at 11:30 to 12:30 position vertically) until vibration subsides and it is easy to hold (no arm strain at all!). Excellent product. Wish it was the newer model with the metal strap -- will have to see if rubber strap holds up. Will update if strap fails.

If I were to do this over again, I would not buy this product nor would I recommend it to anyone. When the item arrived, i secured it to the bench and strapped a paint can in snugly. I set the speed on the drill and started it up. Within a minute the can was punctured by a bolt at the bottom and paint went everywhere. I spent a significant portion of the day cleaning paint off all my tools, benches and floor the best I could. I followed the directions and the shaker catastrophically failed. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this product. I wish there were negative stars I could give it but alas there is only one. Again, DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!

I have used this item a few times and I can't really tell if it is just the paint brand I was using or if it wasn't as effective as I had hoped. I think the product works well, but it would better if the option to include a handle with it was there. I think to be able to adjust the angle you are holding the can could be the difference in how effective it could be. I used a vice to lock mine down in and I had mixed results, no pun intended.

Made in USA. Comes with the hex adapter that is chucked into the drill. A small magnet behind the shaker keeps it in place when not in use. Well built. Should last a long time. Follow the instructions and the rpm value. Excellent product!

Love it and use it all the time. Definitely a good investment.

I purchased this product to improve consistency when spraying my kitchen cabinet doors. Delivery was delayed, and the seller did not respond to my inquiries (Amazon support was helpful). When it finally arrived, the device felt cheaply made, but I decided to test it according to the instructions. I mounted it securely, set my drill to 290 RPM (within the stated 300 RPM limit), and attached a spray can. Within moments, the strap failed, the can shifted, and punctured against a bolt. This released paint across my workshop and damaged several previously finished cabinet doors — each can costs £29.99, so the loss was significant. With more than 40 years of professional experience using tools, I believe this product is poorly designed, unsafe, and unfit for purpose. I do not recommend it. If you use this shaker as instructed then you’ll be hanging on for grim death and your teeth will become loose. As many other people do, bolt the shaker to a stable workbench etc and this will make it much easier. If you attach the handle to one side of the shaker it makes it more stable and easier to control the drill speed - the bonus is that the drive shaft can be stored in the handle. As an aerosol spray can shaker it works brilliantly and with a spray can that had been on a shelf for months the mixing ball was free with the paint thoroughly mixed in 30 seconds. Shaking a similar can by hand took minutes to reach the same point. Quite expensive on first sight but well worth the money saving time and effort - well recommended although why can’t this be found in the UK?
