Can I use the resin only or do I need to have the charcoal too?

I put a fancier 7 inch brass burner in the middle of a small 1lb tank propane table top fire pit and on low the brass warms up just enough to activate the resin. Fills the home with a beautiful scent and the flickering flames off the shiny brass looks mystical. There are other ways of warming the resin besides charcoal. Not every charcoal burns properly, sometimes not at all I noticed. Out of a box of about 50, I had about 15 that lit but didn't burn, just went right out.

is this a good therible to use during a mass

Nope. Too Small. Mine hangs next to my fireplace.

How can I install and use the brass burner censer

The burner has a ring for you to hang. The top of the burner lifts so you can add the charcoal tab and incense.

if you swing this will the top fall off?

I've never had any issues w/top falling off when gently swinging back this product is great it's a nice solid weight...
