I read some of the negative reviews forthis product and wasn't sure what to expect, but I took a punt. And ive been left pretty happy with my purchase. + Very well crafted pieces! The pieces feel nice and look very well made. They feel like they are made of stone. The build quality is top notch. + Board looks very nice and has a good built quality. It feels similar to the pieces, I think it might be stone or something mimicing stone too. But regardless it feels very good. +Wooden, handmade build. You can really tell this was a handmade piece. Not in the 'poor quality, awkward. uneven' way, but in the 'looks high quality and can see the craftsmanship put into it. - Wooden handmade build. Although I consider this a pro, I understand that many people seem not to like it. It is by no means a bad thing on my eyes but worth cautioning. -would like thicker hinges on the box. Although the hinges haven't given out or had any wear in the 2 months of use I've had them for. I'd still keep more.comfortablemwith chunky hinges on the box to keep it extra safe! Overall I would recommend this product as a good value, high quality chess board with high quality pieces and a handmade touch to it. It looks nice enough that I would consider this even as a centrepiece on the coffee table. But consider the negatives, if they are deal breakers for you then don't buy it.

Erster... :) Für einen Preis unter 30 Euro habe ich hier zugeschlagen und bin sehr positiv angetan. Positiv: + ansprechende derb/kräfitge Gestaltung der Figuren + Spielzüge fühlen sich durch relativ hohes Gewicht der Figuren toll an (Haptik) + Verstaumöglichkeit der Figuren ist toll + Materialien des Spielbretts, Figuren, markiges Holz Neutral: o Die Box ist relativ hoch, ich hätte es lieber etwas flacher Negativ - keine Feldbeschriftungen Für mich als Gelegenheitsspieler ein tolles, günstiges Stück mit Charme. Macht auch als Deko ordentlich was her.

livré avec du retard, mais super bien emballé, rien de cassé à la livraison comme peuvent le dire certains ; super produit qui va faire le bonheur de mon fils pour son anniversaire ; très bel objet aussi en décoration, qualité top je pense qu'il faut faire attention à ne pas faire tomber les pièces qui sont en pierre

I would have expected a chess set of this quality to be 3 times the price I paid for it. The pieces are heavy, fun to use and I really enjoy the over all design. J'aurais facilement payé 3 fois le prix pour un jeu d’échec de cette qualité. Les pièces sont lourdes et agréable à utiliser, et le design des pièces est très jolie.
