The product looks really of good quality. But, I think this heat gun is not meant for gulf countries. It operates on 110-120v. I believe it should be 220-240v for the gulf countries.I had to return my order.If they have a 220-240v version I would re-order.

Does the job. Used this to melt heat shrink around cables. Make sure after use, you don't place it on a surface that you don't want melted! Let it cool first!

Bought this to replace one by the same manufacturer that was 20 years old. It failed recently after having mostly been used to shrink electrical heat shrink material. This one is the exact same design with different coloring. The switch works a little differently, which I like better. This one only goes one direction whereas the old one went up for low and down for high. Worth the price.
