I had to completely change my review on these leaders they're nice but they get destroyed buy sharks I just updated my review as of July 6th I had a shark completely bend the clamp that holds the hook not only that but the wire itself isn't good but for maybe a couple of uses before you need to toss the leader away.See the pictures I added.

but when i reeled in a 20# Channel cat this is what it looked like. I was very lucky when I got him to the bank he fell off.

Used to buy my steal leaders at sportsman warehouse but i saw these thought i would take a chance always was iffy about the quality but after getting then i can see they are the real deal will hold the weight it says very well made . landed a 5 foot shark, 60lb bat ray held up extremely well better then any i have used before. BUY you wont regret it . Cant beat the price

Snap on the end of the leader is defective. Extremely difficult to attach a hook, but more troubling is retrieving the line and the entire snap with hook attached is missing from the leader. Happened on at least three of the leaders in the package. If you look at the snap, the large end is for attaching a hook, and the smaller end attaches the snap to the leader. It is the smaller end that is opening in use and the leader is coming back with just a loop at the bottom. Would no buy again.

I used one of these leader on my trolling set up yesterday which had 100lb mono. I attached a Nomad 200mm Minnow lure which is designed to dive when being trolled. The thin wire clip on the end of the stainless leader could not hold up an I just lost my new lure with a #4 treble hook that cost me about $45.00. I would have been better off attaching the mono directly to the lure!
