Rispetto a un HDD tradizionale, i miglioramenti in velocità quotidiana sono evidenti: avvio più rapido dei file, trasferimenti più stabili e meno rumore/vibrazioni, ovviamente. Questo SSD usa memoria QLC: non è progettato per essere un disco primario di editing intensivo o carichi scrittura ultra-prolungati, però per archiviazione media, librerie foto/video, progetti e giochi funziona molto bene. Con file molto grandi la velocità può calare dopo la cache, cosa normale per questa fascia. In compenso, la capacità da 8TB è enorme in rapporto al prezzo — specialmente se acquistato in offerta — e la qualità Samsung (software Magician incluso) dà una certa tranquillità in termini di affidabilità nel tempo.
