I gave this as a gift to a relative who had a forearm amputation. It has made her kitchen life so much easier!

OMG I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS BOARD. SINCE MY ACCIDENT I ONLY HAVE THE LEFT HAND AND WITH THIS BOARD I CAN OPEN CANS AND JARS. I CAN STIR THINGS IN A BOWL. IT EXPANDS TO HOLD CANS, BOWLS ETC. BEST THING I HAVE BOUGHT SINCE MY ACCIDENT AND I RECOMMEND TO EVERYONE.

I love this board, my husband had a hand injury and this is great for a variety of items. You can cut an english muffin, bagel or cucumber with the pegs moved around. You can move the pegs and the lever and place a good sized bowl or cup for stirring and mixing. You can pin an apple on the prongs and although everything takes him longer, he Can do it if he wants.

Ich finde es schon ziemlich böse, dass alle Hilfsmittel für Behinderte so wahnsinnig überteuert sind. Liebe Hersteller, wir sind schon vom Leben stark behindert. Glaubt ihr wirklich, wir hätten Reichtümer im Rollstuhl verteckt?Nun aber zu dem Schneidesystem mit dem ich sehr lange liebäugelte und es mir nicht leisten konnte. Jetzt haben nette Mitmenschen mir ermöglicht es zu kaufen und ich bin so begeistert. Ich kann meinen Salat, Gurken. Kartoffeln, Paprikaschoten endlich schneiden, was mir sonst mit nur einer Hand nicht möglich gewesen wäre und ganz nebenbei entdeckte ich, dass man auch ein Schraubglas einspannen und dann einhändig öffnen kann. Begeisterung pur. Zu guter Letzt spannte ich sogar eine Büchse mit einem Ösenverschluss ein und konnte sie so auch ganz allein öffnen. Das System ist sehr simple und nun wirklich keine fast 100€ wert! Wäre es nicht speziell für Einhänder sondern die gesunde Hausfrau hätte man es maximal für 20€ verkauft. Mehr wäre nicht gegangen.

J’ai fait un AVC donc paralysé du côté droit et plus particulièrement du bras qui est inopérant.J’ai une utilisation importante de cette planche, je fais la cuisine car très gourmand, avec seulement la main gauche, étant droitier.L’utilisation de l’étau est quelques chose de redoutablement pratique, couper, trancher, ouvrir les couvercles des pots , ect.Sa partie mobile se règle à l’aide de pièces à positionner dans trous et d’une poignée/levier réglable, très pratique.Attention : prendre en compte que le levier exerce une pression d’un millimètre ou deux, ce qui permet le blocage et donc le maintien ferme de l’aliment, il faut donc prendre certaines précautions lors du serrage de pieces type pots en verre , ce qui occasionnerait d’abîmer le mécanisme à la longue.Autre points, les ventouses elles adhèrent parfaitement au plan de travail, l’élément à clous difficile d’apporter un jugement il est peut-être pratique pour certains aliments et peut-être pas, il a toutefois le mérite d’existerDepuis mon achat, plus besoin d’un tiers pour des gestes basique, je recommande vivement cette planche.

Lo peor que he comprado en Amazon, solo uso una mano por in ictus y la prenda que lleva para sujetar objetos no tiene fuerza, no hace presion, totalmente inservible para personas hemiplejicas, que es para lo que fue creado, NO RECOMENDABLE, NO FUNCIONA.
