These LED license plate bulbs are great! The stock lights on my 2010 Fusion SEL are much dimmer and they were getting really corroded. After having two stock bulbs go out in six months, I knew that I would have to replace the entire light assembly on my car. I was afraid I would have to go to the dealer to order new light assemblies and the dealer would charge a mint, but I was really happy when I found these new LED light assemblies online for about the same price as buying two original bulbs. Highly recommend!

I got these for my 2010 Ford Focus. Easy to swap out the light housings, it took maybe 6 minutes start to finish. Just have to get under the tab on each side of the old housing with a flat head screwdriver, disconnect the wire from the old housing, plug in the new housing, and it pops right back in. Super bright. If your old lights are not working, its worth getting these replacements units rather than getting just the replacement bulbs. The old style bulbs are almost the same price as these complete units. Plus the copper contacts on your old units are probably shot. The contacts on one of my old housings were broken/worn/corroded off. I couldn't use an old style bulb if I wanted to.
