Shigley'S Mechanical Engineering Design (SIE) |11th Edition Paperback – 5 November 2020

A very good textbook, beyond the standard Indian authors' books recommended during UG studies of many universities. The eleventh edition is in SI units (almost all examples & problems are converted for good). All Mechanical Engineers, should read & follow after the basic books.

Gave this book as a gift to an engineering student.

Not to bachloure degree courses , its for masters and design in industry

Cant learn much from this, annoyingly too many formulas and the WORST way to put together a textbook, so much unnecessary information put in.

I suggest not to buy this 11th edition. It is full of mistakes in terms of units conversion between US customary units and SI units. Text also has some errors in terms of SI units. This 11th version is poorly edited. 10th Edition is better in terms of units conversion. Go for 10th edition.
