Great tape
The best masking tape for rough surfaces. I had some of it even surviving being under water in a pool for a week. It's also very visible and easy to write on.

The Scotch 2060 painter’s tape is amazing. It’s NOT the typical green painter’s tape you find at hardware and paint stores. It’s advertised for “hard to stick surfaces” like concrete block. It does work well for that, but also sticks to wood, walls, concrete floors, and many other things. The adhesive is amazing. I’ve ordered many, many rolls of various widths and will probably order many more. Besides using as advertised as painter’s tape, a few of the other things I use it for: - Making labels for boxes, tubs, tools. - Labels for food containers for the fridge and freezer. It NEVER comes loose but is easily removed. - To make certain things for a low-vision family member to make them easier to find. - Labeling wood blanks for drying. I process a LOT of wet log sections into blanks for air-drying. To monitor the drying I put a strip of wide 2060 tape on a typical block in a batch, freshly cut and still wet. I weigh the block and write the date and weight on the label. Every few months I weigh that block again and record the date and weight. The weight will drop as the block dries. When the weigh quits dropping, I know the block is complete dry (for that enviornment) and ready to use. - I often use it to close up cardboard boxes in the shop and house. On cereal boxes it is easily pealed back to open and use. For other boxes it keeps the box closed but I can easily pull back the tape and open the box when needed. This is better than using the clear box tape since that needs to but cut to open. - A little piece is great for marking painted walls in the house when preparing to hang pictures, wall hangings, or even towel bars. The tape is easily removed from the wall. - I use it instead of gaffers tape with temporarily securing light, power, and audio cable when doing video production in my shop. If I order extra tape and keep it around for a long time, the adhesive can harden a little making it harder to get off the roll. I’ve learned to keep unused tape in a plastic bag in a small plastic tub and it seems to last forever. If they ever quit making this tape I’m sunk…

I would try another brand...I tried to use it on brick and it barely held

When I take the tape off it doesn’t remove paint, it’s a great product, I used it to tape baseboards so no paint would get on them, when I was painting.
