Great product
These are well-known brands that have tested the time. Very useful for ID cards, keys and such similar small easy to lose items. The retractable mechanism is sturdy and the cord is real tough and smooth. Another great item from warehouse

Très bien et très solide. La force est assez importante et permet de mettre plein de clés.

I recently purchased an Apple iPhone 7 Plus (256GB), which represents a very considerable investment. The first 'essential' accessory I purchased for my iPhone was an armoured case to protect the iPhone. I purchased this case from Amazon and it is reviewed elsewhere. The second 'essential' accessory I purchased was the item I am reviewing here. One end of the KEY-BAK, the ring with the Kevlar cord attached, is fixed by a removal link to the encased iPhone so should the iPhone become detached from its belt-fitting holster/receptacle (very unlikely!) it will not be lost, rather it will be tethered to my trouser belt. This is literally a 'belt & braces' solution but it ensures total security for my iPhone. I chose the KEY-BAK because it is very well made and the Kevlar cord is super strong. The retracting mechanism is also strong and it has a smooth action, which bodes well for durability and reliability. Evidently the KEY-BAK is primarily intended for keys but my particular application/use is arguably more important. The KEY-BAK is expensive but its quality justifies the higher price.

Been using this reel every single day with my work keys for about 6 months now. Because of my job, I have about 20 keys and I use them probably about 100 times a day. So as far as durability goes, I think that's a pretty good track record; even if it failed tomorrow. (given its affordability) For usability, this keyring is practically perfect. Of course, I wish the reel part was slightly smaller, but that would mean it wouldn't extend as far, so I think it's appropriately sized in that regard. The length is perfect, even to reach high locks (for instance, one of my most used keys is an elevator floor access key, and the top keyholes are about 6 feet high; I wear this hooked to a belt loop on my waist) With the carabiner, the bulk of my keys can sit in a side or butt pocket of my pants while hooked on a belt loop (to stop that janitor-like jingling) with only the circular reel exposed. The strength of the reel is acceptable. It doesn't fight you too much but retracts quickly and completely when not in use. Although, as my job responsibilities expand and more keys are given to me, I have noticed it is probably nearing capacity - probably more than 25 keys would counteract the reel's strength if left subjected to gravity hanging at your side and the keys would struggle to stay pulled in. So for my purposes, I try to limit the keyring to my high-priority and daily-use keys. I bought two originally in case it wore out or broke due to high usage, but as mentioned at the beginning, my first key reel has been working perfectly for 6 months straight with no signs of wearing out! Update: Purchased August 2014, finally broke on July 2015 with daily heavy use. Was definitely pushing the key limit in its later months, probably always about 18-20 keys when it says that it can retract with about 15. The end of the string snapped, which is honestly still amazing that it lasted as long as it did with the use that I put it through. Luckily with the affordable price, I had bought two originally and I won't hesitate to continue to purchase this product in the future.

I'm using this all day with a number of keys attached. I used to have the lighter weight one which served me well for a few years of constant use (still works but a bit sticky). This one is almost a beast but tamed. Works well, build quality is good and although it's tough, it's not heavier than it needs to be. I'll keep coming back to KEY-BAK, in fact I bought a spare just in case I can't get one in the furure.
