Paleo Sweet Potato Starch Noodles - (1.1 lbs x 2 Bags)

I don’t care who you are, where you are from and what you do....these are delicious for all! Teens even adore this item! Cool with a veggie or meaty broth! Perfect!

We love these noodles. We have been using them for years. We love that they just have a single ingredient. It is great when you have to be on a strict diet. The timing for cooking can be a little challenging at first, but if you taste them while they are still boiling you can get them pretty close to perfect. They work great for regular spaghetti or any of your pasta creations. The price seems to have gone up a little bit, but so has everything else. The noodles do make me happy since I have to avoid grains and gluten.

In the last photo I included, there are tiny (what appear to be) manufactured holes in the bag ... not sure if that's to avoid spoilage / they need air flow? Upon seeing this, I was unsure if the noodles would be stale, but they tasted just fine (both taste test of dried noodle and after they were cooked).When I purchased these, they came two packages per order. They claim to have no artificial color or preservatives, and to be made with 100% sweet potato starch (stamp on the package included in photos). The ingredients listed are Sweet Potato Starch, Water. Distributed by California company; Product of China.These are long noodles, and (I am very inexperienced cooking them) get very sticky when cooked. I found that cutting them in half along the fold before cooking made them easier to manage (the noodles are not brittle; gave my kitchen shears a run for their money trying to cut bundles at a time).The flavor is very neutral, and they cook up essentially clear. They disappear in the cooking water, and then magically manifest from the water when you strain them, which is fun. Visually, I was reminded of kelp noodles. They are firm an chewy, and add a nice texture to the dish.

A bit hard to chew but great overall

there are amazing find! we eat paleo so they give us our pasta fix when needed. get to add a lot of veggies. recommend undercooking if going to cook again with veggies

First I absolutely love the taste of these noodles and cooked with them all the time. They are chewy and absorb sauce flavors well. That being said I finally solved my stomach pain and sleeping problems when I figured out that these are not strictly gluten free. See attached image of testing by my Nima gluten sensor. I ran the test twice on two separate samples. Long story short if you're sensitive to gluten don't buy these. I should have known better since they are not certified GF.
